Obtaining an Account
on VT ARC System X

System X is operated under allocation policies set by the university. The Allocation Committee is authorized to award time on System X to projects of sufficient scientific merit and potential impact.

To obtain an account on System X, please complete one of the following forms:

• System X Allocation Request Form for VT faculty.

  NOTE: Internal allocation requests must come from a VT faculty member. Students (undergraduate, graduate, post-doc, or visitors) cannot be principle investigators and must have their faculty advisor submit an allocation request.
  

• External Allocation Request for individuals who are not associated with Virginia Tech.
