Before the XServes Arrived
Josh roaming the racks
We ran all the leaf to spine InfiniBand connections in the tops of the racks. Well we had to hold them up somehow when we racked the XServes and this worked. Srinidhi stopped by at the wrong time and got put to work.
A full half rack of XServes ready to be cabled.

Ethernet mantra...I'll be repeating this in my sleep when I'm 80! Orange-white, orange, green-white...
Oooooo...pretty
How to keep an assembly crew on their feet...snickers, tootsie rolls and mini hershey bars Jason says, "Are we having fun yet?" Peter working on an InfiniBand switch

Progress!
Everything nice and neatly routed The oversized racks were very handy.
Originally designed for 12 Power Macs, the racks are slightly wider, deeper, and taller than a standard rack. Neat link pattern as we tried to get all the InfiniBand switches talking again Sam, we've got another 150 machines to unbox and they're coming in 20 minutes...
Just kidding Sam...
Josh likes the way it looks
Putting the metal plates on the fronts of the racks to restrict airflow.
XServerific!
