VT-Rnet is a new research network at Virginia Tech. The goal is to dramatically improve research and instructional activities via 10-Gbps network connectivity. Virginia Tech faculty members are requested to identify activities that will substantially benefit. Only a limited number of connections will be awarded on a first-come first-serve basis.

The VT-Rnet research network is a joint collaboration between Network Infrastructure & Services (NI&S) and Advanced Research Computing (ARC) within Virginia Techs Division of Information Technology (IT).
